National Indigenous Day @ The Fort Langley National Historic Site

Join Deanna Miller of Katzie First Nation for a traditional plant workshop. Using plants she harvests in her territory, Deanna will share her knowledge of different plants with participants. Each participant will go home with a sachet of Deanna’s tea, which she creates in small batches.

Early bird advance online tickets until June 17th (includes admission): Adults $12.70, seniors $11.45.
At the door (if space remains): Adults $15.10, Seniors $13.85 and Youth/Annual pass holders $4.90.

Hear the story of a community pulling together during salmon season to harvest and prepare salmon for food and for export. Join a cultural program with Fern Gabriel, traditional name sesmelot, of Kwantlen First Nation.

The program will begin in front of the Visitor Centre by the Salmon Walk Sculptures at 1pm.
